Monster Hunter Wilds was shown at Summer Game Fest
with a new trailer called "The Hunter's Journey."
Capcom says this is the most movie-like and immersive game in the series so far. The game will allow crossplay, meaning you can play with friends on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S when it comes out in 2025. Along with the trailer, Capcom shared more details in a new PlayStation Blog post by Capcom USA Social Media and Community Manager Joseph Bustos. The blog gives more information about the two-minute video. It also shows new artwork of a pack of Doshaguma in the Windward Plains and introduces a new monster called the Balahara (leviathan).
