Xbox Game Pass Announces Games Leaving
Several titles are set to depart Xbox Game Pass, with some already gone and more on the way. On August 16th, subscribers lost access to notable games like The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Airborne Kingdom, and Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition.
Unfortunately, more removals are scheduled for August 30th, including Atomic Heart, NBA 2K24, and Guilty Gear -Strive-. As usual, subscribers can take advantage of a 20% discount on these games if they wish to continue playing them after they leave the service.
With Xbox now revealing which games will exit by the end of the month
The announcement of new titles coming to Game Pass should follow soon. The only confirmed upcoming addition for August is Core Keeper, launching as a day one title on August 27th.
Xbox is expected to provide a full list of new games for the remainder of the month and possibly the first few days of September in the next day or two.
While there are no official hints about what else to expect this month, there’s speculation that more games from Activision Blizzard’s back catalog might be added. Earlier in August.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy joined Game Pass, as leaked by eXtas1s before the official announcement. The same source suggested that Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 could be coming to Game Pass soon, though no specific timeline was provided.

Looking beyond August
Game Pass subscribers can anticipate at least two major first-party releases. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to launch as a day one release on October 25th, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is expected to arrive before the end of 2024, although a specific release date has yet to be announced.
