Stellar Blade's Outfit Update
A recent update for Shift Up's PS5 game Stellar Blade introduced unexpected changes, making some of Eve's outfits even more revealing than before. Released last night, the patch notes were shared on Friday, but players had already started noticing surprising adjustments to Eve's wardrobe. In contrast to the censorship controversies the game faced at its launch, this latest update seems to have had the opposite effect. It’s still unclear just how many outfits were affected, but both Shift Up and players of Stellar Blade have provided evidence supporting these observations.

The official patch notes did not explicitly mention anything about altering Eve's outfits to be more revealing. The closest hint in the notes is a vague line stating "visual improvements of conflicts between Eve's body." This broad description, however, was accompanied by a video from Shift Up, which showcased the changes in one of Eve's outfits before and after the update. The differences in the outfit’s appearance were notably apparent.
As for the patch notes themselves
They did address several other aspects of the game. The Stellar Blade update includes the continuation of the "Summer Event" at the Oasis, complete with an event-specific background music track titled "Don't Forget Me." Players can also now mark locations on the map using the □ button and access a favorites feature for Eve's equipment. Additionally, a new item, the "Ammo Package," allows players to restock all ammunitions to the maximum with a single purchase. A confirmation pop-up for transactions exceeding 15,000 golds has also been added to prevent accidental overspending. Along with these, the update includes various bug fixes and visual adjustments to Eve's appearance.
Before Shift Up released its video, a user on X (formerly Twitter) shared a clip showcasing another effect of the update: skirt physics. Some of Eve's outfits, particularly those that aren't full bodysuits, feature skirts that now behave differently in windy conditions. The video demonstrated how the skirts respond more dynamically to wind, adding a noticeable visual change.

About Eve's appearance and the updates to her outfits, Stellar Blade remains an impressive game. With numerous collectibles to keep completionists busy and challenging enemies and bosses, it has garnered praise for its gameplay.
Currently exclusive to PS5, a PC version is anticipated, allowing more players to experience Shift Up’s Stellar Blade. Additionally, both Stellar Blade and Helldivers 2 are expected to be integrated into Astro Bot, offering even more content for PlayStation users in future updates.
