There is a new leak
Which states that Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2, the highly-acclaimed Xbox and PC exclusive by Ninja Theory, will probably soon cut its way to PlayStation 5 soon. Microsoft is in the recent trend of porting games such as Sea of Thieves and Hi-Fi Rush over to rival platforms; speculations about whether the Hellblade 2 will reach wider audiences may already be buzzing.
The leak and Microsoft's shift
Expected for release on May 2024, Hellblade 2 placed players in Senua's haunting journey through Norse mythology and was acknowledged for its gripping narrative and atmospheric depth. It fell short in some circles, however, on the quality of gameplay, with critiques raised for this being short and for a linear gameplay structure. Nonetheless, it does continue the original's theme of mental health. Sources have reportedly said a port for PS5 is also on the way, possibly to be announced at PlayStation’s State of Play, on February 12.
Microsoft's latest strategic moves
Including plans to launch future titles on PS5, add credence to this rumor. If true, then it will be able to be added to a larger and larger-list of Xbox exclusives marching into healer mode and now cross-platforming against the traditional so-called "console wars."

A PS5 version could get this game much broader exposure and solidify its presence as a narrative powerhouse.

There are leaks suggesting it will be revealed during State of Play. That said, just because it has been on the circuit, does not mean you have to believe it. There has been no word yet from Microsoft or Sony on the hogwash flying around; there is specific credence in these recent rumors. The jump of a Hellblade 2 to other platforms remains in the realm of possibility.
