In lieu of the first anniversary of Helldivers 2, developer Arrowhead Game Studios and PlayStation have been dropping free goodies for all players.
The second anniversary cape is a free download to commemorate an anniversary of Helldivers 2. The game has seen the second celebratory gift after the B-22 Model Citizen armor last week as part of the game's continued Helldivers 2 anniversary free cape celebrations.
A Celebration of Galactic Democracy
The vibrant cape, adorned with symbols of liberty, was awarded to players for their “successful commemoration of the first year of the Second Galactic War.” In a tongue-in-cheek announcement, the official Helldivers 2 social media account praised players for meeting the “designated respect quota,” stating, “Democracy has never been managed so beautifully.”
How to Claim the Free Cape
Available immediately on PC, PS5, and PS5 Pro, the Emblem of Freedom can be unlocked by simply logging into the game. While the offer’s duration remains unconfirmed, Arrowhead hints that additional surprises may follow throughout the anniversary week.
