Next week, Fall Guys is launching a highly-anticipated Star Wars crossover
Characters like Yoda, Darth Maul, and more will be available starting July 30th. This exciting addition follows the May the 4th celebration when Mediatonic introduced skins for Han Solo and Boba Fett. The latest cinematic trailer reveals four new skins, primarily from the prequel trilogy, including Queen Padme Amidala and Darth Maul, with prequel-era looks for Yoda and R2-D2.
The new Star Wars skins won’t be free; players must make in-game purchases to acquire them. Mediatonic and Epic Games have invested heavily in this crossover, so it's not surprising. Previous bundles featured Star Wars-themed cosmetics like the Sarlacc Pit and a Carbon Freezing Chamber, though it's unclear if similar items will be part of this release. The trailer does tease potential new emotes, adding to the anticipation.
This crossover coincides with significant updates for Fall Guys
Epic Games recently introduced Update v30.30 in Fortnite, signaling the start of integrating Fall Guys into the Unreal Editor in Fortnite, with full integration expected by August 6th. This move follows Epic's acquisition of Mediatonic in 2021, aiming to merge popular game modes.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available on PlayStation, Switch, Xbox, and PC. Don’t miss the Star Wars crossover featuring Yoda, R2-D2, Padme Amidala, and Darth Maul on July 30th. Pricing details are yet to be announced, but the previous bundle cost around $20 for both.
