Assassin's Creed Shadows may feature cut content from Assassin's Creed 3
Exciting long-time fans of the series. Set in feudal Japan during the late Sengoku period, the game introduces two protagonists, the samurai Yasuke and the kunoichi Naoe, promising dual gameplay. Players can choose between a stealthy ninja or a powerful swordmaster, with both characters having access to assassinations.
A recent discovery by a dedicated Assassin’s Creed fan revealed
That Ubisoft seems to be reusing an unused stealth takedown animation from AC3 in Assassin's Creed Shadows. The animation, initially intended for Connor in AC3, involves running from behind the target, jumping, striking the enemy with a knee, and quickly assassinating them while rolling forward. This move was spotted in pre-release footage of AC3 from PAX East 2012 and is now seen in recent gameplay scenes of Naoe in AC Shadows.
The inclusion of this animation has sparked discussions among fans
While many are excited to see the impressive move revived, others note that Ubisoft likely had to recreate the animation from scratch due to technical constraints. Despite these discussions, the general consensus is positive, with fans eagerly anticipating the game's release on November 12.
